This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and retain it, how member information is displayed, and what happens to information when a membership ends.

 

Our goal is to verify membership appropriately, protect the integrity of our community, and allow members to control how they present themselves to other members.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Fantasy Lounge, we may collect:

• Identity information: Your legal first and last name and information needed to verify your identity and administer membership access.

• Contact information: Your email address and account information used for login, account management, and communications.

• Member profile information: Your username or display name, profile picture, and other information you choose to include in your profile.

• Verification photos: Photos submitted during the vetting process and, when applicable, for Yearly Membership verification.

• Event information: RSVP details, including your legal name and username, used to administer event attendance and verify membership.

• Payment information: Transaction and membership purchase information needed to administer payments, tickets, and membership records.

• Community content: Posts, messages, and other information you submit through member community features, including Members Chat.

 

We collect and use this information for membership administration, identity verification, event management, account security, payment processing, and related operational purposes.

2. Vetting Photos and Identity Verification

Photos submitted with a vetting application are used for internal identity verification and administrative purposes. Applicants must provide recent photos that clearly show their faces. Couples may submit one photo together or two separate photos, one of each person.

 

Your legal first and last name must match your government-issued identification. This information is used internally, including to verify your identity when you arrive at the venue.

 

Yearly Membership Verification

 

If you purchase a Yearly Membership, an additional verification photo may be requested. This photo helps Fantasy Lounge verify that the person purchasing the membership matches the person approved through the vetting process.

 

The photo is used for internal administrative and verification purposes and is associated with the relevant Yearly Membership and payment records.

Verification Photos Are Separate From Profile Photos

​

Vetting photos and Yearly Membership verification photos are separate from your member profile picture. They are not automatically used as your profile picture and are not displayed to other members through your profile or the member community.

 

Photo Retention

​

Photos submitted for vetting and Yearly Membership verification remain on file for the duration of the applicable membership. After a membership ends, certain verification records may be retained when needed for legitimate administrative, safety, legal, or compliance purposes, subject to applicable law.

 

3. Member Accounts, Usernames, and Profile Pictures

 

Once your application has been approved and you have been granted login access, you can set up and customize your member profile. This applies to both Nightly Members and Yearly Members.

 

Usernames and Display Names

 

Your username is what other members may see when viewing your profile or event RSVP information.

 

If you sign in using Google or another available third-party sign-in method, your account may initially use your first and last name as your display name. Until you complete your profile setup and enter a username, your real name may be visible to other members in member-facing areas.

 

During profile setup, enter the username you want to use. This allows you to hide your first and last name from other members in the member-facing areas covered by this policy.

 

Please verify your profile after signing up to ensure your username is displayed as intended and your first and last name are no longer displayed to other members. Most new members make this change during the initial setup process.

 

Some members choose to display their real names, while others prefer to display a username. The choice is yours.

Your legal name is collected separately for internal administrative purposes, including identity verification at the venue, and must match your government-issued identification.

Profile Pictures

​

Your profile picture is your choice. You may use a personal photo, a privacy-conscious image, a unique logo, or another image you prefer. You may also choose not to display a profile picture, depending on the available profile settings.

 

Your profile picture is separate from the photos submitted for identity verification. Verification photos are not automatically used as your member profile picture.

 

Email Addresses

 

Your email address is associated with your account for login, account management, and relevant communications. It is not automatically displayed to other members through your member profile.

 

4. Event RSVPs and Member Visibility

 

When submitting an event RSVP, members are asked to provide their full legal name and username. Both are collected for administrative purposes, including attendance management and identity verification.

 

Only your username is displayed to other members in connection with your RSVP. Your legal name is not displayed to other members through the RSVP information.

 

Event RSVP information is available through the Fantasy Lounge website to logged-in members. It is not publicly accessible to visitors who are not logged into the website.

 

Because a third-party sign-in method may initially populate your real name as your display name, we recommend completing your profile setup and verifying your username before participating in the member community or submitting an RSVP.

 

5. How We Use Personal Information

 

Fantasy Lounge may use collected information to:

• Review vetting applications and administer membership approvals.

• Verify identities and manage access to events.

• Create and maintain member accounts and profiles.

• Manage membership status, event RSVPs, and attendance.

• Process membership purchases and event ticket payments.

• Communicate membership, account, and event information.

• Address administrative issues, complaints, disputes, and membership requirements.

• Maintain relevant records of membership history and administrative decisions.

6. Information Sharing and Third-Party Services

 

Fantasy Lounge does not sell members' personal information. We do not share member information with other websites or third-party membership platforms for their independent use.

 

Certain service providers may process information as necessary to support our operations, such as hosting the website, managing accounts, providing sign-in services, communicating with members, or processing payments.

 

These providers may handle information in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.

 

For example, membership and event ticket payments are processed through PayPal. If you choose to sign in through Google or another third-party sign-in service, that provider may process information according to its own privacy practices.

 

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or legitimate operations of Fantasy Lounge, subject to applicable legal requirements.

 

7. Payment Information

 

Memberships and event tickets are processed through PayPal. Charges may appear on payment statements as Content Studio Lounge LLC.

 

Fantasy Lounge uses the transaction and membership information needed to confirm purchases, administer memberships, manage event tickets, and maintain related records.

 

Payment and transaction records may need to be retained after a membership ends for accounting, tax, payment disputes, legal, or other legitimate recordkeeping purposes.

8. Privacy, Discretion, and Information Security

 

We recognize the importance of discretion within the our community.

 

Fantasy Lounge distinguishes internal identity-verification information from member-facing profile information. Legal names, email addresses, and verification photos are used for their designated administrative purposes and are not automatically displayed to other members.

 

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we maintain. However, no website, electronic transmission, or online account can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

 

Information that members choose to display to other logged-in members is visible to those members. Members should therefore select profile information and images with their personal privacy preferences in mind.

 

9. Member Responsibilities and Community Content

 

Members are expected to respect the privacy, personal boundaries, and information of other members and guests.

Information available within the member community should be treated with discretion. Members should not assume that information they choose to share with other logged-in members will remain confidential from those members.

 

Members may remove eligible profile photos and posts they have made in Members Chat using the available features. If assistance is needed, members may contact Fantasy Lounge to request removal of eligible content.

 

Some content or associated records may need to be retained where necessary for legitimate administrative, safety, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes. Removing content from the member-facing community does not necessarily delete all associated records or copies.

 

10. Data Retention

 

Fantasy Lounge retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to administer accounts, memberships, event access, transactions, security, and related administrative matters, or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law.

 

Photos submitted for vetting and Yearly Membership verification remain on file for the duration of the applicable membership. After a membership ends, certain information may continue to be retained for legitimate administrative, safety, dispute-resolution, payment, accounting, tax, legal, or compliance purposes.

 

The length of time information is retained depends on the type of information, the reason it was collected, the circumstances involved, and applicable legal requirements. We do not automatically delete all information when a membership ends.

 

11. Membership Cancellation and Account Removal

 

Members may choose to discontinue their Nightly or Yearly Membership, subject to applicable membership terms. Ending a membership does not automatically delete all personal information or records associated with that membership.

 

What You Can Do When Leaving Fantasy Lounge

When you decide to leave Fantasy Lounge, you may take steps to reduce your presence in the member community:

 

• Email communications: You may unsubscribe from promotional and other optional email communications using the available unsubscribe options. Necessary administrative or transactional communications may still be sent when appropriate or legally required.

• Profile picture: You may remove your profile picture from your member profile.

• Members Chat content: You may remove posts you have made in Members Chat using the available features. If you need assistance removing eligible content, please contact Fantasy Lounge.

 

Removing Access to the Members-Only Areas

 

After removing your profile picture and eligible posts, you may contact Fantasy Lounge to request removal of your access to the members-only areas of the website.

Fantasy Lounge can manually remove your access to the member community. Please contact us through our Contact Us page or email info@thefantasylounge.com to request this change.

Removing access to the members-only areas does not necessarily delete your account or all records associated with your membership.

 

Information That May Be Retained

 Fantasy Lounge may retain relevant information after a membership ends for legitimate purposes, including:

• Member complaints and safety concerns: Maintaining relevant records when a complaint, dispute, or safety concern involving a current or former member is reported.

• Payment and financial records: Maintaining transaction histories, receipts, and membership payment records for accounting, tax, payment disputes, or related purposes.

• Legal and compliance requirements: Meeting applicable legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations.

• Membership administration: Maintaining relevant records of membership history, identity verification, and administrative decisions.

 

Information will be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes or as required or permitted by applicable law. We do not automatically delete all records when a membership ends.

 

Requesting Assistance

 

If you discontinue your membership and would like assistance removing eligible profile information or Members Chat content, or removing your access to the members-only areas, please contact Fantasy Lounge through our Contact Us pageor email info@thefantasylounge.com.

 

We will review and address requests in accordance with our operational practices and applicable legal requirements. Some information may need to remain on file after your access has been removed.

15. Phone Use, Photography & Recording

 

Phones are permitted at Fantasy Lounge but must be used respectfully and responsibly. Taking photos or videos of anyone inside the venue requires the clear, mutual consent of everyone who may be captured in the image or recording. This applies throughout the venue, including private rooms and common areas.

If management observes or receives a report of someone taking photos or videos without the required consent, the person may be instructed to delete the photos or recordings immediately.

 

Violations of this rule may result in the immediate termination of Nightly or Yearly Membership privileges at management's discretion.

 

For Yearly Members, any refund for the remaining portion of a membership is not guaranteed. Management will determine whether a refund is appropriate on a case-by-case basis.

 

We encourage members to handle concerns politely and respectfully when they feel comfortable doing so, and to notify management when needed, either during or after an incident. Management takes privacy concerns seriously and will address reported violations as appropriate.

 

While we make every reasonable effort to maintain a respectful environment, we cannot guarantee that every instance of unauthorized photography or recording will be prevented or immediately detected. We appreciate our members' cooperation in respecting one another's privacy and helping maintain a comfortable environment for everyone.
